Chics On Stix

UTN Support Surgery welcomed the first meet up for the “Chics On Stix” group where ladies suffering with forms of disability got together to meet one another through networking over a nibble and air frustrations about living with conditions.

Living with walking aids or chairs is not easy no matter how many years you use them.  People with disability face many obstacles including just being accepted by society in general.  “Chics On Stix” designed by Geri Minelli is a forum space giving females and their partners or families an opportunity to share with others some of the challenges that are encountered in everyday life.

To share more about your daily challenges in life, visible or invisible, get in touch with Uniting The Nations.
