“Chics On Stix” Living with Disability

This summer UTN “Chics On Stx” will be hosting a forum meet up session for those who simply need to relate.

Any form of disability can be extremely challenging at times and some days it just consumes you to a point of mental breakdown.  These are both with visible and invisible challenges.  As #Blogbird, with an understanding for how this can affect your life, this text is reaching out to those of you who feel you cannot get out of bed this morning or simply cannot leave the house as a result of the anxiety you may be encountering.

I can advise that as I sit here in extreme pain, I have to dig to the depths of my inner being to crawl from this space of resignation to say, well today, one has to get up and inspire just one person not to give up on themselves.  Having spent countless months in bed trying to heal from injury, “Chics On Stix” sessions, has given me hope and purpose to go out and offer support to those who may need it.

Not only do we take the injured into consideration, we want to offer a chat space to the ones who care for them too.  Its a challenge and responsibility for anyone and Support Surgery recognises that and offer more than just what is on the label.

“Chics On Stix” Forum Event on September 8th welcomes you to this opportunity to meet with like-minded and spend a bit of time relating and expressing.  You don’t have to be alone with your thoughts and wonder what is left for you in life.  You have so much to offer and we want to help you to dig deep and bring it to fruition.
